TAs part of our aeration programme, the greens will be spiked today using bayonet tines. This process helps relieve compaction and improve root development while causing very little disruption to the playing surfaces.
Following completion, the greens will be rolled to maintain smooth and consistent putting surfaces.
Unfortunately, QTS were unable to begin the culvert replacement works adjacent to the railway line on the 3rd hole yesterday as planned. We are now expecting them to arrive and commence work today.
During this period, please take extra care when playing in and around the area, as there may be construction vehicles, machinery and personnel moving around the course in connection with the works.
